
The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) - it is the largest organization in the world, operating under the auspices of the United Nations, which is more 70 years to protect children's rights in more, than 190 countries. Our focus – survival, development and happy life of every child.
UNICEF is working with the Government of the Republic of Belarus, public and international organizations, private companies, the children themselves and their parents, to improve the situation of the most vulnerable groups of children and adolescents.
One of the main priorities of the UNICEF country program 2016-2020 gg. is an realization of the rights of children with special needs and disabilities.
UNICEF is assisting the Government in the development of the services available for children with disabilities and their families, including early detection of features in development and early intervention services, medical care and rehabilitation, early development, inclusive education, and social protection. The main purpose of this work - to exclude elements of discrimination against children with disabilities in the community and support the efforts of the Ministry of Education to develop and implement inclusive education practices in the country.

Republican Resource Center of Inclusive Education It was the result of joint work by UNICEF and BSPU. M.Tanka in promoting the ideas and practices of implementation of inclusive education. The Center aims to be a unique unit of the Institute for Inclusive Education, which will not only provide a focused and concerted action on the implementation of best practices in the training of future teachers, accumulation, systematization and transfer of experience in the implementation of inclusive education in the Republic of Belarus educational institutions, but also will promote the idea of access to education for all children.
